Corby Community Safety Partnership Terms

1)      Our commitment to your data protection

Our policy is to respect and protect the privacy of anyone who visits the Corby Borough Council’s website.

2)      Personal information collected via online forms

In cases where we ask you for personal information via an online form, this information will only be used for the purpose indicated and will be held in a secure manner. It will not be used for any other purpose without your permission and will not be kept for longer than necessary. If you are concerned about providing your personal information online please contact us and we will arrange alternative means for you to provide this information

We collect IP addresses only for the purposes of system administration and to audit the use of our site. We do not link IP addresses to anything personally identifiable, which means that while your user session will be logged you will remain anonymous to us.

a)  It is safe to make payments to the Corby Borough Council online. It is our policy to protect your privacy by making your online transactions with the council secure.  We have strict security measures in place to prevent the alteration, loss or misuse of information on our computers.

b)  When you send us your payment details, they are encrypted, or changed to unreadable code, on their journey between your computer and ours. So any information you send us cannot be read between these two points.

c)  When your payment details arrive they are held securely at our end. Access to your information is carefully restricted.  We will only use your card details for the payment concerned. We will not disclose your card details to any third parties other than the bank which processes them for payment.
